It’s been a while since our last update and it’s safe to say a lot has happened since then! Not only have we endured some very wet and dismal autumn and winter months, but the way of life for everyone has changed very dramatically due to the Coronavirus pandemic and is set to be different for a little while yet during these unprecedented times. Needless to say, these factors have meant that progress on site has been delayed, but we are now making good headway at Holroyd Homes. The completion of Phase 1 (plots 1-10 known as ‘Uppercroft’) is on the horizon and we anticipate this will be in August 2020. Read on to learn more…


We are thrilled to announce that plots 1-7 are now all occupied. We are over the moon that these brand new, quality builds can now be called ‘home’ and belong to many lovely couples and young families alike. It makes us really proud and gives us great pleasure to see the new homes we’ve built being lived in as each family puts their own unique stamp on their new home. It’s actually nine months since plots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 became the first homes to become occupied last September – time really does fly when you’re having fun!

After a quiet few months on site due to the pandemic, things have picked up recently. Our dedicated team are currently hard at work putting the finishing touches to plots 8, 9 and 10 which are all very near to completion. Plots 9 and 10 are sold subject to contract, but we have one more property available. Plot 8 is marketed at £465,000 and is a beautiful detached four-bedroom property. The completion of Phase 1 may be very near, but here at Holroyd Homes we excited to announce that Phase 2 will very shortly be underway! Phase 2 comprises the rebuilding of the charming Grade II listed cottages into three stunning characterful homes. We are currently clearing the site and digging for foundations.
