Welcome to our latest news. We thought it would be useful to give you some information about how you can customise your home. Whether you are one of the lucky buyers who have already reserved their dream house, or you are new to the development at Broad Lane Farm, you will want to know how you turn a house into your home.

Update from site

Before we get into the detail, here’s a brief update on progress at the development. Plots 2 and 3 are now taking shape and are up to first floor level. The tumbled and dyed stone looks fantastic and adds a real look of quality over new stone. It really will set the houses apart from other new build homes.

The retaining wall which runs across the back of the site and holds back the rear gardens has been constructed across plots 2 to 6. Plot 1 is being excavated now, together with foundations for plots 3 to 6. Work is progressing as planned and with an additional team of builders and joiners starting after the Christmas break, you will soon see more houses rising out of the ground! See the photos below.

The choice is yours

At Holroyd Homes, we don’t believe in house types. Each person is different. We are keen to work with you to help create your dream home. We offer an extensive list of options and customisations to allow you to put your stamp on your home.

Choices you make as standard include:

  • Kitchen unit colours and worktops
  • Carpets
  • Bathroom wall and floor tiles
  • Kitchen and hallway floor tiles

We also offer an extensive range of customisation/upgrades from which you can pick and choose based on your preference and budget. Please get in touch if you would like the full list. Here are some by way of example:

  • Automation to garage doors                                           £500
  • Bi-fold kitchen doors in lieu of French doors             £1,500 – £2,500
  • Boiling tap                                                                          £600
  • Neff or similar Espresso machine                                 £2,000

We are also happy to work with you to accommodation other requests, depending on the stage of the build and the nature of the changes. Homeowners are welcome to choose fitted furniture from whoever they like. The cost of this can be added to the purchase price and we can facilitate the furniture company having access for installation at the appropriate stage of the build.

We are focused around you, so if there is something important to you not covered here, get in touch with WM Sykes and we will work together to help achieve your dream home.

Remember to check back regularly for updates on progress on site.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the team at Holroyd Homes.
